Health officials and experts are set to testify before the House Oversight Subcommittee on Health Care and Financial Services Tuesday afternoon on the health and wellness of children.
The hearing will focus on the impact of “unhealthy diets and the overprescription of medications” on children. It also comes as the Health and Human Services is expected to release its second report from the “Make America Healthy Again” commission.
Acting Assistant Health Secretary Dorothy Fink is among the witnesses.
The event is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. EDT.
