Charlie Kirk was remembered in a VIP-studded memorial service on Sunday in Glendale, Ariz. President Trump, Erika Kirk and several high-level Trump administration officials offered their remembrances of the conservative pundit at the hours-long event. Kirk, 31, was assassinated on Sept. 10 in Orem, Utah.
“He’s a martyr now for America’s freedom,” Trump said in his tribute. Erika Kirk, in her remarks, said she’s forgiven the man who is charged with killing her husband. Tyler Robinson was apprehended the day after the shooting and faces multiple state charges.
