Two detainees were killed in a shooting at a Dallas Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) field office on Wednesday.
No law enforcement officers were injured or killed in the shooting, city and federal officials said at a press conference. One other detainee was critically injured, according to the Department of Homeland Security.
The incident is being investigated as “an act of targeted violence,” and officials said anti-ICE messages were found in evidence near the suspected shooter, who is also dead.
Law enforcement officials did not identify the shooter nor any victims at its Wednesday morning press conference.
